An apron for a Princess.

June 1st, 2010

Hello, I made an apron for my parents’ godchild’s birthday. She is going to be six and likes pink, princesses and anything to do with helping and playing with her parents. I bought her an Angelina Ballerina Cookery book and made her an apron. For anyone else looking to buy a pink cookbook for a six year old, this is available on amazon.

My first cookbook

This is my first time making an apron, let me know what you think…

Excellent! I usually have a problem with dressing little girls all in pink (heteronormativity boo) but this is adorable… the flamingos are hilarious, and nice ruffles, too!

I do too but pink is her favourite colour and she is going through a princess phase. I love that material too, I had proper material envy and didn’t know what to do with it. I’m glad I decided to use it for this as it’s playful and she was very excited. I have a bit left and might make a tote out of it.
